 Vocation Information

Do you want to know more about our way of life? Perhaps you would like to pray with the Sisters at our Eucharist or Liturgy of the Hours or make a retreat in our monastery. If you have a desire to discern with us your vocation with our community, there are a number of steps that will be helpful to you. First, it is important to have some college or work experience and an ability to live in a monastic community. Our formation program is individualized according to the background and needs of each person, and consists of a postulancy of nine months to a year, a two-year novitiate, and a three-year period of temporary vows. During this time of formation you will have classes on our Salesian Spirituality, the vowed and contemplative life, prayer and liturgy. You will share in the daily life and prayerful work of our community, which includes support of our educational ministry. We look for a wholesome attitude toward all human life, an appreciation of a life of prayer, and a willingness to live in God’s love.

If our community life of “Living Jesus” interests you, our vocation director can provide you with more information.
